RIDER'S CONTROL LOOP (El Laso de Caballero)

The loop is a formalized product of a neck rope in that it is a semi-rigid loop incorporating a grip that is comfortable with either single or both hand positions, providing control of the horse through pain free pressure to the chest and neck. Use of the loop enhances and compliments the development of balanced riding, an independent seat, and use of the legs to communicate direction to the horse. Even with undisciplined use it would be difficult to hurt the horse. The loop can also be used for ground work. It is very light and very strong, and lends itself to decoration.
